Double-studio exclusivity, a director credited by name, and a title that reaches for literature instead of a checklist — JQJ-008 announces itself as a prestige piece, and it earns the swagger.
Luna Tsukino, signed to both Dengeki and Madonna, is handed a role built to showcase range rather than volume, and the film is staged as drama first: long takes, real dialogue, a camera that watches her think before it watches her move.
The honey of the title is the whole thesis. Lust here is slow, sticky and sweet, something that coats her rather than strikes her, and director Nagae shoots it that way — warm light, held frames, a sound design that lets a breath sit in the room before the next line lands.
Tsukino carries the weight with genuine craft, sliding between composed and undone in the same scene, and the film gives her the space to do it.
The dramatic spine matters: a woman aware of her own appetite and faintly ashamed of it, circling the thing she wants before giving in, and the surrender lands harder for the delay.
The prestige framing means fewer positions and more attention — every touch placed, every glance loaded, and a final stretch that plays like a curtain call rather than a countdown.
If you want a Madonna-grade drama, a director's signature all over it, and Luna Tsukino at the very heart of her craft, JQJ-008 is the one to sit with.
