Karin Kitaoka goes undercover as a narcotics investigator, and the case goes sideways fast.
IESP-764 takes the cop-and-criminal premise and weaponizes it: she's caught, the drugs come out, and the interrogation flips direction — instead of her extracting answers, her body starts giving them up.
The gimmick is in the title and the film commits to it, using the drug angle to justify the spasms that ripple through her as the scenes escalate, her composure as an investigator cracking with each dose and each round.
The costume work sells the role — badge, blazer, the whole professional shell — which makes the moment it all comes apart land harder.
Kitaoka carries the duality well, playing the hard-nosed agent early and the twitching, overstimulated wreck late, with the camera staying close for the spasming payoffs.
If you like investigator roleplay, drug-driven overstimulation, and watching a tough character get systematically broken down, this is built for exactly that appetite.
