It starts with a phone call at an ungodly hour. His mother-in-law has passed out at a drinking party and someone has to fetch her, so he does — dutiful, half-awake, entirely unprepared for what a drunk woman's weight against his back will do to him. ROE-580 makes the whole first act about that proximity: her breath on his neck, her body heat through his shirt, the slow, embarrassing realization that he's stopped thinking about the road.
By the time they're home the line is already thin, and crossing it takes almost nothing. What elevates the film past the setup is the compatibility angle — the sex is good, unexpectedly, ridiculously good, and neither of them can leave it at one night. They go again and again, sneaking off, inventing errands, and the family house becomes a minefield of half-closed doors and muffled noise. The mother-in-law is played with warmth and a certain shameless pragmatism; she knows exactly what's happening and is in no hurry to stop it.
The husband's absence hangs over all of it, which is what keeps the tension sharp. If you like drunk-rescue setups, mother-in-law taboo and a couple who simply can't keep their hands off each other, ROE-580 is the one.
